Bad sleeping habits.


So occasionally I usually get short spells of mild insomnia, as I like to call it anyway. There'll be a few days, 3 at most, where I just won't be able to get to sleep, no matter how tired I am, then I'd sleep it off and be fine afterwards.

This time is different. This time I literally can't sleep when I'm supposed to. I was laying in bed wide awake, after going to be at 04:20 when I WAS tired, until 08:20 when my alarm went off. So I smashed the snooze button a couple of times which eventually resulted in me turning it off. I then drifted in a sort of not-quite-sleep-but-not-quite-awake state for a bit.
I then realised my lesson had started 30 minutes ago. But fuck, I feel shit, I'll just skip first lesson.
Next thing I know I'm waking up at 14:00. This sucks. I just missed a whole day of college for being fucked up beyond sleeping.

I'm not one for tablets that are supposed to help me function properly, but I'm thinking some sort of sleeping tablets combined with self-discipline could be worth while. However much I don't want to.
And I probably won't. I just hope this all blows over soon.

In happier news, I have the most amazing girlfriend in the world! She sent me a postcard and it turned such a shit day into one of the best.
